Management Managing Others Managing Yourself

3 TED TALKS EVERY LEADER SHOULD WATCH

February 3, 2016

Studying, coffee, e-mails, more coffee, reading materials, more e-mails, another coffee, phone calls, alarm, and repeat again. Do you remember the  dreadful times of being a student and not having money? It does not get easier, though, once you have money. Now, as a student you do not have time. If I could only have a photographic memory like Mark Ross

Anyway, another reading ahead of me and if you guys have some spare minute I highly recommend you watch one of the below. Inspiration always in demand!

The author of the famous “Lean In” book Sheryl Sandberg on Why We Have Too Few Women Leaders (she remarks that majority of women give up on their career after having babies because the have not found the passion in their work)

Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are by social psychologist Amy Cuddy (strike a power pose? maybe it is a good time to implement some workout to help you build and maintain the pose…)

Do you feel like you want to be left alone…finally to focus on your own world? Introverts also make good leaders. Topic explored by Susan Cain: The Power of Introverts

Which one you like the most? Do you have your favourite one  which is not included on the above list? I would love if you could share it in the comments below.

Agata founded Prospectus to share inspiration and her managerial experience as a way of encouraging others not to be afraid to take executive decisions in both their professional and private life. Launched in December 2015, Prospectus is a growing collection of conversations around management, leadership, personal finance & professional attire.
